“SHARK FOR A DAY” Fantasy Camp

Thank you for your interest in Fantasy Camp. This year’s event will take place on Saturday, March 24. If you are interested in registering or have any questions, please email Kelly Esrey at kesrey@sharkssports.net.

We’re all San Jose Sharks fans—passionately rooting for the boys in teal from afar. But few of us ever get the opportunity to experience what it’s like to be a member of the team. If you’ve ever dreamed of being a Sharks player or wondered how your game would stack up against NHLers, you have one chance. Once a year, the Sharks play hosts to “Shark For a Day” fantasy camp, which gives fans the rare opportunity to share the ice with Sharks alumni.

From the moment you step into the building until you step off of the ice, you will get as close as you can get to being an NHL player without actually worrying about a Douglas Murray hip-check along the boards. Participants will skate with Sharks alumni in a regulation game, be given official team gear and much more!

Jeff Odgers (No. 36) readies for a faceoff during the 2010 Shark For A Day Fantasy Camp.

Bernie Nicholls (No. 9) argues a call with a referee. The former Sharks
forward had 75 points over three seasons in San Jose.

Former NHL defenseman and current CSN California hockey
commentator, Bret Hedican (No. 6), takes a shot on goal for Team White.

Net proceeds from this event benefit the Sharks Foundation. For more information or to be placed on the contact list, please email Jeff Cafuir at jcafuir@svse.net.
