Join the Sharks Foundation for a day of exercise, activities geared toward a healthy lifestyle and fundraising at the annual Fitness Faceoff powered by Kaiser Permanente on Sunday, September 25, 2016!
Start the 2016-17 season off by making a commitment to an active lifestyle and participating in the 5K or 10K walk/run. The event also hosts the Rosendin Electric Kids Fun Run and accommodates all ages and skill levels. All courses start and finish at the home of your San Jose Sharks, SAP Center.
A Health Festival, open to the public, will showcase a variety of health and fitness-related vendors and activities for the whole family will take place in the Arena Green.
Everyone that participates will receive a Sharks-themed teal race shirt and finisher’s medal. Be one of the first to register and receive a voucher which is redeemable to purchase a $10 Upper Level game ticket to any one of the first three Sharks preseason home games!
Regardless of your experience or athletic ability, Fitness Faceoff will be a great day to highlight the importance of health and wellness and raise funds for the Sharks Foundation. Net proceeds from Fitness Faceoff powered by Kaiser Permanente benefit the Sharks Foundation and its mission to assist underserved youth and families in the Bay Area.
*NEW TO 2016* The first 2,000 guests to register for the 5K, 10K or Rosendin Electric Kids Fun Run will receive a voucher which is redeemable to purchase a $10 Sharks Upper Level game ticket to any one of the first three preseason home games. You will be notified via email if you are one of the first 2,000 to register - you may decline the voucher offer. Vouchers will be distributed to registrants that qualify at packet pick up and may be turned into the SAP Center Box Office in order to purchase the game ticket. Vouchers have no cash value and are not for resale.
For any guests that register on or before August 31, shirts will be distributed at packet pick up. Guests that register on or after September 1 will not be guaranteed a shirt for race day and will receive their shirt post-event.
Shirts are offered in either MENS or YOUTH sizing only. Ladies-style shirts are not available; petite women are encouraged to purchase a YOUTH XL. Please choose your size carefully as we will be unable to exchange your shirt at packet pick up or event day – no exceptions as we only order one shirt per guest.
You may update any shirt sizing by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org no later than August 20.
All medals will be distributed to race participants as they cross the finisher's line. You MUST be wearing an official 2016 FFO race bib in order to collect a medal.
